-
Cut all of the pieces out of the template
provided.
2. Draw around the template pieces on the first
colour card.
1 x A, 3 x C and 1 x B and then cut these out.
Score
the lines and punch out the hole on part A as shown on the template.
Draw around and cut out 3 x D on a contrasting card.

3. Layer and glue pieces D on top of pieces C,
then stick the Dufex stickers on top.

4. Place double sided tape just below the score lines adding
an extra piece of the tape to the bottom square,
then add the
layered squares in place under the score lines

5. Now add piece B with double
sided
tape
in the centre to attach it the waterfall piece A.

6. Take the last A4 card and fold it in half to
form the main body
of your card. Cut the contrasting card slightly smaller
than the card front and stick it in place using
double
sided tape.

7. Place the Iridescent peel off borders down the
edges
of the contrasting card and the edges of the
main
card.

8. Attach the waterfall to your card at the anchor
points
on piece B
with a couple of Gem Brads and insert a ribbon through the punched
hole in piece A (this will be pulled to make the waterfall
cascade).
Add a peel off sentiment above the ribbon and a
peel off butterfly to the bottom corner of the card.

Cuttlebug Happy Birthday embossing folder
Cuttlebug Mesh Texture embossing folder
Papermania Gem Brads
6x6
cards
Patterned paper
Mirri card

1. Cut out the main hat template and place it left
side edge onto the fold of the
6x6 card, draw around the template and then cut this out, making
sure that
you do not cut down the fold of the card.
2. Next, use the Cuttlebug and
the embossing folders to emboss the background design onto the
patterned paper or the mirri card. Again draw around the hat
template, cut out and stick onto the card base using the Amos Super
Stik.
3. Then cut the brim of the
card, either from contrasting card or some
fancy ribbon, and stick this down using DST (double sided tape),
leaving a small gap from the base of the card.
4. To make the
flower embellishment, you use the Asterisks Cuttlebug Dies.
Cut from contrasting card, then layer the flowers, stacking largest
to smallest
and use a gem brad as a flower centre to keep them together.
Attach the flower by pushing the brad through the card & opening out
the stems.
Now
sit back and enjoy a well-earned cuppa and a sumptuous jam tart.
